Jeremy Cuebas

Jeremy D. Cuebas is the newly-appointed Apprentice Conductor of the Fort Collins Symphony in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he earned his master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting at Colorado State University under the instruction of Maestro Wes Kenney. Jeremy has attended the Conductors Institute at Bard College, the CU Boulder Orchestral Conducting Symposium, and the ICI Arias Workshop, where he has had the privilege to work closely with conductors Harold Farberman, Nick Carthy, Gary Lewis, Lawrence Golan, Apo Hsu, Gianmaria Griglio, Guillermo Figueroa, and Eduardo Navega. He is also the co-host and founder of Podium Time, the only podcast produced exclusively for conductors and conducting students. Podium Time started its second year this August and continues to be an important resource for young conductors. Alongside his work with orchestras, Jeremy has a passion for leading from the opera pit. He recently conducted Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with the Ralph Opera Program at Colorado State and was assistant conductor for Loveland Opera Theatre’s production of The Merry Widow. In his new position with Fort Collins Symphony Jeremy will continue working closely with Maestro Wes Kenney to expand his repertoire and experience while helping provide spectacular orchestral performances for Fort Collins and Northern Colorado audiences
