Brenda Harris was raised in Colorado Springs where she grew up drawing and painting the world around her. With a clear appreciation for art in every form that it could take, Brenda became intrigued by art that directly affected everyone’s day to day life and could be seen everywhere you go. This led her to pursue graphic design at Colorado State University. After graduating in 2005 with her B.F.A., Brenda worked in a variety of print/design environments constantly honing her skills as a graphic designer, illustrator and artist. With over 10 years of experience, Brenda’s professional titles have ranged from Print Shop Manager to Art Director. However, there has always been a soft spot on her heart for non-profits and small businesses. The Fort Collins Symphony has become the perfect home for Brenda, allowing her to use her skills to promote an organization that brings musical art to the entire Northern Colorado community.
As the Fort Collins Symphony’s Graphic Designer, Brenda manages a variety of responsibilities, including using computer software to create unique, effective designs to be used in online media and print. She is responsible for developing our program book, presentations, brochures, advertisements, direct mail pieces, website, emails and other multimedia materials.
Along with her husband and 4yr old daughter, you can find Brenda making organized chaos around her house as she sews, paints, draws, screen prints, book binds and anything else that involves the right side of her brain.
