Brenda and Jim Usher invite you to their home for an inspirational evening of jazz by internationally recognized artists. Pianist Art Lande and Saxophonist Peter Sommer create a powerful jazz duo that is uniquely dynamic. Highlighting their own compositions, special arrangements of standards and open improvisations, Peter Sommer's prodigious technique and lyrical sense combine with Lande's unpredictable accents and color shifts to make music somehow familiar yet freshly original. The Symphony invites you to come be inspired in an intimate living-room setting and be treated to a memorable evening of sound and savory treats.
