Recognized for his delicate and precise baton techniques, and expressive musicality, Maestro In-ho Kim actually started his music lessons on the clarinet. Graduating from the Arts College in music at Changwon University, Maestro Kim finished his Master’s degree in orchestral conducting at Keimyung University. He also studied abroad at the Kazan (Russia) National Conservatory of Music under renowned professor Fuat Mansurov.
Maestro Kim is well-versed in conducting concertos to operas as well as other genres of music. He has guest conducted numerous orchestras including Jeju Philharmonic Orchestra, Changwon-Masan City Orchestra, Jinju Philharmonic, Changwon Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, and Kyungnam Soloists Orchestra. He also worked as a chief conductor at the Eulsukdo Symphony Orchestra. Some of his repertoire as an opera conductor includes DieFledermaus, La Traviata, L’Elisir d’amore, Pagliacci, and The Telephone. He has been in the spotlight after being recognized as the winner of the 9th International Jose Felix Conducting Concours.
Maestro Kim currently holds the associate conductor position with the Changwon Philharmonic Orchestra and is the music director for the Gyeongnam Mecenat Philharmonic Orchestra.
