Dr. David Shaner is the Associate Professor of Trumpet at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He earned his B.M.E. at Murray State College, his M.M. degree in trumpet performance at Memphis State University, and his D.M.A. in trumpet performance at the University of Iowa. He has taught in public schools in Missouri and Kentucky and in colleges in Kentucky, Iowa, and Colorado. Dr. Shaner is active as a trumpet soloist as well as a symphony and chamber musician.
