Gorilla, Gorilla, Gorilla Recap

For all who turned out, Gorilla, Gorilla, Gorilla, was a wonderful event filled with fantastic live music, beautiful art, snacks, cupcakes from Butter Cream Cupcakery, wine generously donated by Donna Stroh, and Picnic Rock Pale Ale from Horse & Dragon Brewing Company. A big thank you to Hedy Reynolds and Rich Shipman for your loyal help pouring the beer and wine. There was jewelry as well as photography and mixed media art for sale. Another huge thank you to Susie McCollum for volunteering to run this table!

Our musicians for this event: April Johannesen, Wil Swindler, and Dana Landry were amazing.  April’s sweet and charming stage presence, along with her side stories and explanations of the pieces to be played, which included short previews of In the Mist, were witty and kept the crowd’s attention.  Wil and Dana also gave excellent performances and every piece they played was very well received.  I even heard people singing along to the Beatles tune!
