The Symphony closes out its soiree season with a twist on its typical offering; Hawaiian swing music. Hosts Wes and Trudy Sargent--who live Ptarmigan's original club house--invite you their version of an island party, complete with the requisite umbrella drinks.

Put on your Hawaiian shirt, mumu or whatever clothing puts you in the mood to listen--or dance--to the swing music of the 1930s and 1940s, as well as some twists on tunes you think you know well, including Somewhere Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World, and of course, perhaps the most familiar of all Hawaiian tunes, Tiny Bubbles. We trust you'll be smiling at the band's reggae interpretation of the theme from Gilligan's Island.
