Section violin auditions are being held jointly and you may audition at either location, but it is not required that you apply for both orchestras.

Final offers for titled positions may be contingent on a service with the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra or the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra.
If one of the titled postions is won by a current member - the resulting vacancy may be offered.

Musicians are responsible for providing their own music.
The Audition Committee reserves the right to dismiss immediately any candidate not meeting the professional standards of this audition.
Final offers may be contingent on a service with the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra.
These are National Auditions. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
The FCS does not reimburse musicians who incur travel expenses (including mileage, accommodations, airplane fare or any other travel costs) in order to audition for or perform with the FCS.
The Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra offers 50 services guaranteed with 15-30 more sold services per season.
The per-service pay scale for regular members of the Fort Collins Symphony:
$75 for Principal
$66 for Assistant Principal
$63 for Section
* Based on 2007-2008 pay rates. Subject to change upon ratification of new Master Agreement.
